Red Ribbon Club

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a comprehensive educational intervention to mainstream HIV / AIDS prevention, mitigation, stigma reduction, care and treatment among the young in higher educational institutions in Tamil Nadu and prepare and promote peer group educators within and outside the college campus. The Programme addresses the knowledge, attitude and behaviour of youth in the interrelated areas of both HIV / AIDS and sexuality, as demanded by their age, environment and life style.

Sapling Club

The Sapling Club of Vysya College works in close co-ordination with the NSS Units. It strives hard to make the city look greener. It has planted a number of saplings in an around Salem city & in the Chinnanoor Village where an awareness camp was held.

The Blood Donor's Cluib of Vysya College has been doing exemplary service ever since its inception in April 1999. It has saved many a precious lives by donating blood. As part of its activities, a Blood Donation Camp was conducted on 19-3-2009 at our college campus in co-ordination with Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College Hospital, Salem. 100 students donated blood on that occasion. Apart from this during the academic year 2008-2009. More than 300 students donated blood to various hospitals in and around Salem. We have a Blood Donor's Directory of 2500 students of our college and we are ready to donate blood to the needy.
